Below is my seafood recipe for Biscuits with Shrimp and Sausage Gravy from About.Com Fish and Seafood Cooking, where each week I share my newest seafood recipes and tips.
This week’s recipe for Biscuits with Shrimp and Sausage Gravy, is about as comforting as you can get.
Made with heaps of flavorful shrimp topped with Southern style sausage gravy and served on a pile of warm, fluffy biscuits, this seafood dish works well for a memorably good breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner.
Also, if you’re making this from raw, unpeeled shrimp, you can use the shells to make this quick shrimp stock which you can use to make delicious soups and sauces.
(If you’re too busy to make the shrimp stock now, you can always freeze the shells for later use.)
It just doesn’t get much better than this!
