If it were possible to look up easy appetizer recipe in the dictionary, it’s likely that this party friendly appetizer recipe for Last Minute Red, White, and Bruschetta from the folks at Jehan Can Cook would probably be the first entry.
A classic appetizer dating back to 15th century Italy, when it comes to festive party recipes, it just doesn’t get much more quick and crowd pleasing than bruschetta.
This red, white, and blue bruschetta recipe uses grape tomatoes, but juicy cherry tomatoes would also work well.
1 loaf italian bread
1 1/2 cup grape tomatoes chopped in half (cherry tomatoes work well too)
3/4 cup blueberries
1 tsp olive oil, plus 1/4 cup
3/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1 clove garlic
black pepper to taste
