This gourmet recipe for Grilled Shrimp and Mustard Green Salad from the folks at White on Rice Couple would make a lovely, sophisticated seafood salad at your outdoor gatherings throughout the Summer.
High in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin K, this mustard green salad recipe is a nice way to make the most of this flavorful and nutrient dense ingredient.
Salad Ingredients:
1 bunch of Mustard Greens (wash, slice stems from leaves, then cut stems into 1″ pieces)
1/2 lb. Shrimp, (shelled & de-veined)
1 T Grapeseed Oil (or whatever neutral tasting oil you like)
1 T unsalted Butter
2 T Sesame Oil
4 cloves Garlic (crushed)
fresh cracked pepper
sea salt
Homemade Nuoc Cham Dressing Ingredients:
1-2 crushed Garlic cloves (or finely minced), but crushed garlic really brings out oils, thus the flavor
1 crushed or minced Thai Chili (customize your spice level)
1/2 squeezed Lime (or about 1 heaping Tablespoon)
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar (optional)
1/2 cup Fish Sauce (add more for extra fish sauce depth)
1/2 cup Water
