The screened porch is up, the days are getting warmer and yard is full of green green green…sounds like Spring fever season has arrived!
Like many people, after this year’s strange and rather exhausting Winter, I could really use a nice long vacation right about now.
Alas, things are probably a bit too hectic for that this year. If you’re in the same boat, you might want to at least take a little time for yourself and help stay grounded by eating and entertaining outside more.
An afternoon picnic (whether at the park or on your porch) can be a great way to enjoy nature in the company of your closest friends and family.
Made with Italian prosciutto, creamy mascarpone, and basil, this delicious picnic friendly appetizer recipe for Prosciutto Picnic Pinwheels With Mascarpone and Basil from the folks at Inn Cuisine will help you do just that.
Enjoy!
Ingredients:
6 ounces mascarpone cheese
3 ounces sliced prosciutto (about 10 slices)
1 bunch fresh basil leaves (approximately 25-30 leaves, use any excess to garnish)
