Anitasa2z has made an interesting video which will show you how to easily prepare delicious fresh spaghetti squash in your microwave.
A popular alternative to pasta for diabetics or those following low carb, gluten free, or low glycemic load diets, spaghetti squash is a delicious winter vegetable that is similar to spaghetti after you cook it and can be flavored with a wide variety of sauces and/or tossed with your favorite vegetables.
However, because spaghetti squash is quite large and dense it can be hard to cut (without the risk of adding a finger or two to the recipe). This video shares a much safer tip that is also quicker than the more usual method of cutting open spaghetti squash.
Spaghetti squash is commonly made by being baked in the oven (for approximately 45 minutes, depending on the thickness of your squash), but the cook in this video uses a microwave for intervals that add up to 25 minutes, a method I find to be more convenient and just as tasty as the more traditional method.
