
As Election Day approaches and we prepare to vote (after having a hearty breakfast of course!), we thought it would be nice to share some recipes we’ve come across from the hard cooking folks at the White House Kitchen.

This collection of recipes is more “comfort” than what they would usually served for dinners with guests, interesting.
Also, this post reminds me of the Bush Family Cook Book I see staring at me from the discount bin…now I’m prodded to buy it!

This list is really great…! Fantastic examples of All-American Comfort food …Until of course you get to the 2005 Bush Inaugural Dinner Menu, which absolutely Grossed me Out! Coca Cola Brined Turkey with Dunkin Donuts Stuffing ???!!! If that does not sound completely unappetizing enough, the blatant corporate fanny-kissing is enough to create more than sufficient nausea.
